I'm sure we are all aware by now that the Powerhouse Media Diva Oprah Winfrey is planning to end her talk show in September 2011. This is a woman who has overcome obstacles and tribulations in her earlier years in life and now stands as an extraordinary achiever, inspiration, and influential woman to thousands of people across the globe.
People are already speaking out on their thoughts about the decision; providing their comments and opinions. However, this post isn't about your thoughts on Oprah's decision to end the Oprah Winfrey Show, it's about the statement "all good things must come to an end". A few people have made this statement in response to her decision.
As we live our life most of us go about our daily journey thinking about how our decisions today will reflect our lives for the future. We are concerned and aware of the fact that time goes on with or without us. Because of that, we know that we should make the most of it and be positively impactful as much as possible. When and if we are successful in doing that, then, we have a done a Good Thing.
But when we leave this earth and our physical bodies are rested in the dirt, does our Good Thing end? Do our hard work and accomplishments end? Or does the legend of our life, our journey, our success remain as a hereditary blessing to be past down and infiltrated to our children and children's children?
The Good Things and accomplishments of past extraordinaires still lives on. Thomas Edison, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Pres. Abraham Lincoln, just to name a few and many many more.
Your thoughts and comments are welcome.
Shared over a cup of tea,
...From My Thoughts To Yours, Jamara
